It would be safe i think but not the best lube.I think something of a thinner and slimier consistency would feel better like maybe a water based lube.If your using a condom then dont use that as a lube.Dont use any oily stuff it might heat up and burn or something with enough friction.I dunno what u have there maybe try K-Y jelly thats alright to use.

It is safe, but if you're using condoms check that it doesnt act as a corosive on it. Also you're best using a water based lube, it isnt as messy to clean up & if it starts to get a bit dry all you gotta do is spit on it & it's all slippery again.
I'm a huge fan of riding the bus up hershey's highway & i always use water based lube, is the best way to go

i know astroglide or a waterbased lube is the way to go but i was in the situation where i was, as warlock put it "riding the bus up hershey's highway" and my girlfriend asked if i had any lube so i went to the bathroom and realized i was fresh out but then i saw the tub of petroeum gelly and remembered it is quite the lubricant, but i thought about the condom getting weakend by it, but thankfully trojan lubricates there condoms a good deal so the evening went on without a hitch
