enzyme and beneficial microbe compatability question
Ok, here's an advanced question, for advanced and knowledgable techies, in the advanced technique message board.
There's a lot of dispute about what's the best environment for root systems in a hydroponic application. There's the sterile environment, with usage of h2o2 (hydrogen peroxide), and GH's Florashield or similar, there's the sterile environment with enzyme additives like Hygrozyme, sensizyme, etc., and there's
the environment with beneficial bacteria or microbes such as the new Floraliscous Plus by General Hydroponics.
My question is there has to be some compatabilities between these products, and some incompatabilities. An educated guess would say that root protecting products like h2o2 (peroxide) and maybe even Florasheild (GH), are not compatible with added microbes and bacteria. The two are counterproductive to each other. In fact peroxide is used to kill bacteria and microbes, and possibly Florashield does too. How about the combination of new Floraliscous Plus with a product like Hygrozyme??? First let me note that Floraliscous Plus is very similar in compound to original Floraliscous grow & bloom but with the added bacteria/microbe stuff. Would there be a conflict of interests in a sterile enzymatic root treatment like Hygrozyme, with a bacteria
formula like Floraliscious Plus together in the same reservoir? Perhaps you should alternate use week to week, and never the two together? Maybe the two work well together? I would really love to know. I have ordered the new Floraliscous Plus and I still have over a quart of Hygrozyme. I'm scared to mix them. Any suggestions?Stormcooker Reviewed by Stormcooker on . enzyme and beneficial microbe compatability question Ok, here's an advanced question, for advanced and knowledgable techies, in the advanced technique message board.
