Hey Whitekat, I grew up in Meterie and Mandeville. My folks say Mandeville doubled in population since Katrina. Could you post a thread just describing what the current status is in New Orleans, if that's where you're at. Maybe you're in Lafyette but I'm really interested in what's going on these days. Let's see...the first one is me WITH hair......and the second one is me withOUT hair. (its in the hat, :rasta: ) Also, the second one is the, "I'm too sophisticated and sexy for my smile" look. I'M GOOD AT IT!.....Mommy...told me.....=( haaaa, god I have no clue what I'm talking about anymore

The third one...well, the third one USED to look normal but I was messing in Photoshop and accidentally Ctrl+S'ed it, so I saved over the normal one. This one still looks cool...right?! lol

Edit: Okay...the order I said.....the first one is actually the third one, and the third one is actually the second one, and the second one is actually the first one. Got it? GOOD!

I grew up in Meterie.

A friend of mine is from there. He came up to Norfolk, after Katrina, was gonna stay here, but then his wife left him with his truck. He stayed for a couple months and then said that he had to go back near his support system because he's taking care of his 9 year-old daughter, also. He's 33 or 34 and got a teaching job at Tidewater Tech while he was here. I met him through this site.
