Free Soil Additive...

I've found a great source for a soil additive. Starbucks!

They give out used coffee grounds to customers...tons of them. They are ph safe and make great compost. I've added several hundred pounds to my garden, some tilled in, and also used as top dressing to hold in moisture. I grow in the desert where temps are commonly over 110 dgrees...anything helps!

They have bins in just about every store and even package them up for you.
Just ask next time you stop in. If you are anti-Starbucks...go in anyway and use their grounds to better the world...at their expense.

I can't recommend this enough and I'm waiting to see if my herb tastes like a caramel frappuchino.
