The goth scene is still very much alive. Here in Leeds, UK I can think of at least 3 clubs that specialize in goth music/scene. 1 month out of every sat a club with a goth night on attracts 2000 people to the city. The goth scene is absolutely huge here. Far from Dead.

The way you say I used to be goth when I was like 16 wearing dog collars and black long trenchcoats until I realized I did'nt like drinking blood and digging up dead bodies. really shows you weren't goth at all. That statement reflects your virgining mentality towards the goth sub-culture. Since when did goths dig up dead bodies? Fucking hell.

Also, as for the B.O., I haven't noticed at all, & I think you're talking out of your ass. Just for the record me & a few of my best buds (Who are considered goths or vampires by the local townspeople) shower every day, sometimes twice.
Do you have a special condition?

Goth in america is dead. Can I think of one goth club here?.....Um no.
And if your so fasinated with vampires or gothic culture why don't you just kill yourself? You'll be alot closer to a vampire that way Mr. Vlad The Impaler.

the way i see it, MOST people who call themselves goths are mall goths, its all to "be cool"...

thats what my dad thinks....about smoking....its a lifestyle....just like being a hippie...but yes in this case i suppose what you said is true....the lovely lady is trying to fit in...

the way i see it, if your gunna go around saying "imma goth, look at me" then you need help, why label YOURSELF...many "goths" say they hate labels, yet they label others all the time (preps, jocks)...its so fucked up...

There is no small print with style. Altho we can make assumptions, there is no code of the Chav, or Goth culture. Which is why if you have a problem against one of these types then you must be stereo-typing them! And im pretty sure your opinion of goth shares correlation with the borders of your imagination, therefor you will think a goth is: Blood sucking, Necrophyliac? Where as there is usually a much simplar innocent explanation i believe in. Its called style, people wearing the cloathes they think they look good in? you know of this??? zero revolt thru in insults where he could including
"goths smells bad" But really dude, you didnt decide NOT to wear the cloathes, because you felt a lack of G.O.T.H in you lifestyle, you didnt feel "I dont suck half as much blood as i should, im not worthy", You just grew out of it, everyone is entitled to different stages of theyre lifes, and you just realised, that a very depressed part of your life had ended, and now you felt happier alot more often, you decided the dress code didnt suit
