Phoenix, get a pair of guinea pigs [both female... males tend to fight a bit and if you don't want to breed 'em, you don't need males.!]. They're cheap to feed, being obligate herbivores, so you only need to feed them fresh vegetables, e.g, lettuce, carrots, celery, etc, and of course, plenty of grass [lawn, not pot variety... ]. They also make great lap-warmers.
Make up a suitable cage [look up websites on cavies [another name for guinea-pigs] for info] and put them out each day on the lawn with a bowl of water.
I used to have guinea-pigs some years ago, and now I wish I had done some experimenting on them, to see if how stoned they could get. My sister has some guinea-pigs, but she won't let me do so.
One day, I may get myself a pair, now that we have a lawn in the backyard.
Why a pair? They're social animals, and I found some years ago that one cavy tends to go quite nuts from sheer loneliness.
Be gentle with them, look after them as well as possible, and have fun. Just be aware that the guinea-pigs live for around twelve years, properly looked after.
Mac Maniac Reviewed by Mac Maniac on . Does your pet stay in the room while smoking? I'm an addiction specialist so I can humbly diagnose that our pet has become addicted to marijuana smoke. At first when he was a kitten, we never noticed if he was in the room or not. Later on, when he was left outside, he would meow very loudly and scratch the door to be let in. He would just sit there usually on my lap, then he'd pass out with (I swear) a smirk... :D He never makes a fuss if the door is closed and if nobody is smoking a J. Gets the muchies - he even eats watermelon and Rating: 5
