So, why is Charlie Manson in prison? Cause it's bullshit, that's why! The version I heard was 7 hits. I've been to prison, not to many guys there who haven't taken 7 hits or 10 or whatever. To be legally insane (in a criminal case) you must be incapable of distinguishing between right and wrong, and if you are so incapable because of voluntary drug use, too bad, your own fault, go directly to jail. Nice to know the old stories are still out there, though.
