we all know corruption doesn't exist...sounds like a conspiracy to me...
i've never said our military industrial complex are the only criminals...i've routinely said that mi5/mi6/fsb/mossad are equally as corrupt and in bed with each other.
they all use problem/reaction/solution to guide their countries towards dictatorship and more government control.
i'm not going to point the finger at everyone else when there's issues going on here at home.pisshead Reviewed by pisshead on . Stained by corruption The Volcker report reveals how the major players most fiercely opposed to military intervention â?? Russia, France and China â?? were by far the biggest beneficiaries of Saddam's strategy of "playing favourites" in oil deals and supply contracts. Russian companies garnered more than $A25 billion in oil purchases; French companies $5.7 billion; Chinese companies $6.4 billion. http://www.theage.com.au/news/tony-parkinson/stained-by-corruption/2005/09/08/1125772644236.html?oneclick=true  Rating: 5

What happened? Foreign insurgents blowing up the lines. You know how much revenue has been lost due to these actions? If I recall there was a letter from Osama to Zarqawi that instructed him to go after the oil infustructure.

Shouldn't there have been a plan for that, being that it's so obvious those things would happen?

Check this out once. It has all the different insurgent attacks and at the bottom has a map of Iraq with the lines. How do you protect every last mile of this??

Obviously, you can't. Protecting pipelines in Iraq would be like protecting telephone lines in the US. The problem is the people behind the war never forsaw this happening, even though it is so obvious in hindsite, and to those of of not brainwashed to believe government propaganda, obvious in foresite. Do you don't see the dichotomy? Iraq has all these horrible weapons, and yet this will be easy? Both cannot be true, and of course neither was. Good thing too, imagine if they hadn't been lying, and all those weapons really existed. Where would they be now? Likely in the hands of Zarqawi (or however it's spelled) This talk of "democracy" is equally nonsense. The Iraqi elections came at the insistence of Sistani, over the objections of the US, who assumed their boy Chalabi would simply take over. Funny, they tell you one lie, get caught, tell another, and you fall for it again! Damn, if my girlfriend was that gullible, I'd be getting some pussy right now.

I don't think you can protect every last mile of pipeline. W should've been aware of that, too. There should have been proper planning, rather than giving everyone the rosy scenario that Iraqi oil would pay for Iraqi reconstruction.

Strategy 101, figure out what it is your enemy wants, and prevent him from obtaining it.
