Who's Helping the Animals?
Hurricane Katrina left behind thousands of abandoned and displaced pets. Agencies from all over the world are helping the human victims of Katrina, but who is helping the animals? Please donate to the Humane Society:

If it were your town that was destroyed, you'd appreciate that your dog, cat, ferret, iguana, parrot, whatever pet you have, were feed and provided shelter, wouldn't you?flfotographer Reviewed by flfotographer on . Who's Helping the Animals?
Yes, I would expect people to care for my pets. I find it sad that a country that spends billions of dollars of weapons each year, on Iraq, and on this bullshit drug war, but can't spend a bit more to feed these animals. Just because on animal can't change the world like some people can, they still mean a lot of their owners who raised them, took care of them, and loved them, doesn't mean they should be left behind to drown in the undercurrent of shit. Damn US government!

That was so sad, on TV, when the rescue boat had to ignore the dog swimming through the water. A full grown pet. It probably made it's way to the Gulf Of Mexico and swam around. Pisses me off.

About ten years ago, I saw on the local news about the depletion of the ozone layer creating weird precipitation patterns in the atmosphere (or moisture patterns). I guess until we figure out the ozone layer, it looks like everything will get worse.
