Any good spiritual books u read and can recommend?

    That one too -

    We talk to ourselves incessantly
about our world. In fact we maintain our
world with our internal talk. And whenever
we finish talking to ourselves about
ourselves and our world, the world is
always as it should be. We renew it, we
rekindle it with life, we uphold it with our
internal talk. Not only that, but we also
choose our paths as we talk to ourselves.
Thus we repeat the same choices over
and over until the day we die, because we
keep on repeating the same internal talk
over and over until the day we die. A warrior
is aware of this and strives to stop
    his internal talk.

Once inner silence is attained, everything
is possible. The way to stop talking
to ourselves is to use exactly the same
method used to teach us to talk to
    ourselves; we were taught compulsively
and unwaveringly, and this is the
way we must stop it: compulsively and
    unwaveringly.

Your mind will make endless excuses... Only when it is silent, IS THE ANSWER...
But it is no answer at all.

A Wanderer in The Spirit Lands, The Tebettan Book of the Dead, the vetic texts, The Egyptian Book of the Dead, Gosple of the Witches, God of Witches, Knowledge of the Higher Worlds, Spirit Teachings, Spirit World and Spirit Life, and Robert Bruce's books. You can find most of those books on the web, except for Robert Bruce's books. If you go to www.sacred-magick.com, you'll have to become a member in order to download spiritual books from there. If you're still looking for spiritual books, have fun with those.

Definitely read anything by Ram Dass, but especially Be Here Now. It will blow your mind..

Ram Dass is a yogi formerly known as Richard Alpert, a psychologist who worked with Timothy Leary. They got fired together after doing LSD research with grad students at Harvard. Be Here Now is a groovy psychedelic and artistic rendering of his experiences in India after Harvard, where he went to look for answers to the questions about spirituality he was encountering through drug experience.

It's the kind of book that speaks to the secret truth hidden in everybody. The author seems culturally Hindu/Buddhist at first glance, but he was born Jewish and considers himself a practitioner of all faiths.

Please don't read books by people who claim to have the only path to truth. The teachings of the mystics tell us that even distinctions between God and no-God are false... Reality is One and we all share it.

    Also,
if you consider complex theological questions that go too deep into philosophy to be in some ways irrelevant to your spirituality,
if you're like me and you just want to know how to live a simple, peaceful and harmonious life,

please check out books by Thich Nhat Hahn (such as Peace is Every Step) and the Dalai Lama (such as Sleeping, Dreaming and Dying).
These guys are both Buddhists but don't consider their practice incompatible with other religions. They say to stick to your roots.
Nhat Hahn is a Vietnamese monk who was nominated by Martin Luther King for the Nobel Peace Prize. He writes about mindfulness, a deceptively simple technique that has transformed the experience of daily life for millions of people for thousands of years. You would be amazed at the way his words speak to you.

He is a Zen master, and yet his teachings are all about love.

Pharmako/Poeia -Plant Powers, Poisons, and Herbcraft
Pharmako/Dynamis -Stimulating Plants, Potions & Herbcraft
    by Dale Pendell

These books are amazing. They include sections on psychoactive plants that incorporate poetry, history, chemistry and experience. The first book includes a section on cannabis.
