You want to harvest when the THC is at its peak within the plant.

Brown trichs are past their peak and have now degraded into "other cannabinoids."

These "other cannabiniods" have a more 'narcotic' like affect on the brain as they 'squeeze' your neuron receptors as oppposed to simply attaching themselves to them.

The clear trichs contain little or the least amount of THC, or THC that has not peaked in its potency.

Stark white trichs are the ideal, as they are at their peak in THC concentration. Some THC degradation shall continue, just a bit, after harvest, so ideally, I like to harvest when most trichs are stark white and about 10% are amber.
