i would say you have 5-6 weeks left before you should harvest, but the best way to tell is by trichome color, and even then it depends on the kind of high you want to get from the plant...or you can go by the pistol method where you wait for 80% to turn...i guess it's a matter of preference.

I started them in december and planted them outside in may! They are 10 feet tall and I notiticed the first white hair on them during the last week of july (Really small white hair but still).

I'm afraid they might get stolen away from me because of their size so I hope they are ready real soon!

80% brown??????? I taught it was 50% Is it just me or nobody says the same thing and it's a preference thing. Whats the dif between 80% and 50% on the potency and type of high of the smoke????

head high for clear trich's or less orange hairs.

You want to harvest when the THC is at its peak within the plant.

Brown trichs are past their peak and have now degraded into "other cannabinoids."

These "other cannabiniods" have a more 'narcotic' like affect on the brain as they 'squeeze' your neuron receptors as oppposed to simply attaching themselves to them.

The clear trichs contain little or the least amount of THC, or THC that has not peaked in its potency.

Stark white trichs are the ideal, as they are at their peak in THC concentration. Some THC degradation shall continue, just a bit, after harvest, so ideally, I like to harvest when most trichs are stark white and about 10% are amber.
