I would say nicotine in the form of tobacco products, alcohol, heroin and meth are the most 'dangerous'. Shrooms, acid, E, caffeine and cannabis are the safest.

I've done lots of acid, and most other phycedelics, too. I've never had a flashback. I'm kinda disappointed, actually. And I think weed is probably more dangerous than caffeine, both are harmless, but if you don't consider getting arrested a danger, then you've never been arrested.

With alcohol 1 in 1,000 users will have negative reactions resulting in death. THIS IS IN ORDER FROM LEAST DANGEROUS TO MOST DANGEROUS

1. Cannabis Sativa/Indica (Ruderalis is not included because it is a sub species of C. Sativa). Cannabis is extremely safe. No overdoses have ever been reported. It may be possible to have adverse effects from this plant but I haven't heard of any. Some people may have mild anxiety attacks or psychotic reactions for 30 minutes to 1 hour but this is unlikely and if it does happen it goes away when the cannabis wears off. It is truly the safest "drug" out there. Cannabis loves you.

2. Magic Mushrooms ( P. Cubensis and similar species in the Psilocybe family) Very safe, don't overdose.The most problems you will get with these is strong hallucinations and it could scare you but it will generally stop freaking you out 6 hours after you take the mushrooms and you will feel better usually. It is possibly to take too many on damage your body but you would have to take quite alot. The one big danger about mushrooms occurs when someone sells another person some random mushrooms they picked from the woods. Certain types of mushrooms can be deadly. Occasionally dumbasses pick mushrooms they find on the grass or in the woods and eat them and die or they sell them and the person who buys them dies. This is not common but many mushrooms look like the psychoactive ones you like to eat and they can and will kill you. So be careful and buy at your own risk. Never eat mushrooms you find unless you are an experienced Mycologist (a mushroom expert). Sometimes people sell stronger varieties of psychoactive mushrooms so you should always be aware of this and realize that 5 gram of P. Cubensis will not get you as high as 1-2 grams of mushrooms from the Pannaeolus family. Sometimes 4 grams of P cubensis wont get you as high as 1-2 grams of a different batch of P. cubensis so just be careful.

3. Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (also known as LSD) Very safe when taken in moderate doses. It can really fuck with your head but it's generally pretty safe as long as you dont take too many hits. If you have underlying psychological problems it can sometimes trigger the dorment psychological problems and screw up your brain. For example: If you are more prone to becoming schizophrenic due to family genetics, or if you have the potential to have it but it hasn't shown itself yet, LSD and other Hallucinogenic drugs "wake up" the disease and it could cause some serious problems. This doesnt happen often though, but it is still something to think about.

4. Various mescaline containing cacti, such as: Peyote, San Pedro Cactus, Peruvian Torch Cactus, and several other cacti in the Trichocherous family. Very safe when taken occasionally, can be dangerous when taken by someone who is sensitive to Mescaline. Note: this isn't the same as synthetic mescaline. When the cactus is eaten it is 99% totally safe, when mescaline is extracted from the cactus and taken, it is a little less safer but okay when used in moderation. Synthetic mescaline (made in labratory from different ingredients not derived from the cactus) can be very dangerous if not made correctly and it differs from the stuff from the cactus in some ways but it's not very noticeable.

5. Opium (the raw latex collected from ripe opium poppy (Papaver Somniferum) pods. It contains Codeine (Methylmorphine) and Morphine, as well as various other important alkaloids such as, Thebaine and Papaverine. Very safe when used in moderation, can be deadly if abused but it's not likely if it is being smoked.

6. Caffeine (the major active drug in coffee and certain tea's as well as some other plants) Take a small therapeutic dose of it (20-200mg) and you will probably be fine unless you are allergic. Take more than that and you just may end up in the hospital. A caffeine overdose isn't pretty. Caffeine is pretty dangerous if abused.

7. Pharamceutical opiates (natural and semi-synthetic painkillers). Codeine, Dihydrocodeine, Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, Morphine, Hydromorphone, Oxymorphone, Diacetylmorphine (heroin), Fentanyl, Carfentanyl, Sufentanyl, Etorphine. I listed them from weakest to strongest, Codeine being the weakest, and Etorphine being the strongest, approximately ten thousand times more powerful than morphine. It is lethal to human unless used in microscopic doses. It is used on elephants and other large animals like giraffes. It is highly dangerous and I would say it is probably one of the most dangerous drugs unless used in microscopic amounts. But other than Etorphine, opiates such as morphine, oxycodone (oxycontin), hydromorphone (dilaudid), oxymorphone (Numorphan), Fentanyl (Duragesic Patches) and Diacetylmorphine ( heroin) are all pretty safe when used in moderate amounts, provided the person does not abuse the medication too much. They are very safe when a steady dose is taken everyday. It's when people start to abuse these drugs and toy with the dosages that problems arise. If you or a friend overdoses, call an ambulance and make sure they continue to breath while the ambulance is on it's way. Perform CPR and don't try to walk the person around while they are passed out! It doesnt fucking work!!! It causes more problems. Leave the person where they are and take an ice cold cloth and try to wake them if they are unconcious by putting it on their forehead ocassionally. The cure for an opiate/opioid (painkiller, opium) overdose is Naltrexone, or Nalaxone. It instantly cures the person and they are monitored until the drugs they took is out of their system. If needed more doses of naltrexone or nalaxone are given. Methadone lasts 24 hours so many doses of Naltrexone need to be administered over a period of 24 hours or the patient could go unconcious again when the Naltrexone wears off because the methadone is still in the person body.

8. Pharmaceutical Speed (Dextroamphetamine, Amphetamine, Methamphetmine HCL. NOT crystal meth) I truly believe these drugs are extremely dangerous. I have had years and years of experience with them and in my opinion they cause long term neurological and psychological problems. Chronic use can cause psychosis and paranoia. Stopping the use of them can cause depression for long periods of time, even many years if you use these drugs heavily. Very risky stuff. Be careful!

9. Crystal Methamphetamine and MDMA/Ecstacy and Cocaine HCL and Freebase. These drugs present a huge risk to your health. I am not anti-drug. But, these drugs have destroyed many lives. I personally know many people who have succumbed to this disease and most of them have never been the same again. These are 3 very different drugs but I feel they are both extremely dangerous and they deserve to be the 2nd most dangerous on my list. The first most dangerous in this group is Crystal Methamphetamine. In my experience it is much stronger than crack or cocaine freebase and it lasts for a much longer period of time. It also causes your teeth to turn red and orange and fall out. And it turns you into a paranoid tweeking nutcase. Many people are dying from this shit so i would stay away from this smokeable form of Methamphetamine. Crack/Cocaine, is the 2nd most dangerous out of the 3 drugs. Crack/Cocaine will turn you into a raging psychopath and steal every last bit of sanity you have. I know a man who grew up with my father and he started doing crack at about age 20 or so. He is now 35 and can't hold a job, he looks like he's about 55-60 years old, seriously!, and he talks about all sorts of government conspiracies and every time i see him he tells me about the U.S government conspiracy to assassinate JFK. He used to be a really nice guy but now he's just fucked. Stay away from crack and cocaine, they are bad news! Ecstacy is least damaging of the 3 drugs in this paragraph. I only say it is dangerous because I have had experience with it and it has screwed my life up and left me with long lasting disabilities. The thing about this drug, and all of the street drugs is that you don't know what they are putting in it. You could be getting anything when you buy that pill. You could be getting diseases, brain damage, methamphetamine, MDA, PMA, Ketamine, DXM, Caffeine and all sorts of different types of speed. If the MDMA you had was pharmaceutical and made professionally I wouldnt be so scared of it. Think about what happens if one of chemists makes a mistake in the synthesis of this drug!!! Do you really want to on the receiving end of some drug dealers chemistry mistake? Didn't think so. If you do have pharmaceutical MDMA, it's about as safe as pharmaceutical Methamphetamine HCL, and things like Adderall and Dextroamphetamine. So good luck with that! be safe, and dont overuse it.

10. Alcohol (Beer, Wine, Vodka, Rum, Gin, etc.) Alcohol is the most dangerous drug on this list. Alcohol kills more people than any of the other drugs mentioned in my list. If you want to know how many it kills, well, here you go!!! Alcohol kills 8,000 people a month. YES 8,000 people per month! Alcohol kills alot of people. Alcohol kills 3 times the amount of people that died in the world trade center every single month. Now, tell me that isnt dangerous!!! It's strange that Cannabis is illegal. Cannabis has not been responsible for one death since the beginning of time, yet, Alcohol, the mass murderer of 8000 American citizens per month, remains fully legal. People drink and drive, drink and beat their wives,drink and beat their kids, drink and beat their dogs, drink and commit crimes, drink, drink ,drink and drink!!! And somehow it's alright? I find that totally strange, and i'll bet you do too.

Tobacco was not included in my list but it is very dangerous, it is more dangerous than alcohol so it would be number 11 on my list. Also i forgot to include Opioids. These are totally synthetic drugs that have similar actions (highs) to Opiates (natural and semi-synthetic painkillers, ex: morphine, hydrocodone) but they dont share a similar chemical structure. An example of an Opioid is Methadone. Methadone is a very strong drug. It is just as powerful as morphine, I believe it is more powerful than morphine and it feels more euphoric than morphine for me and many people I know. They say it doesnt get you high but I take it everyday for pain and it does give me a buzz and it provides great painkilling relief. I suggest you stay away from methadone. It's doses are tricky and you can die easily if you take even a big too much. One 40 mg pill can kill someone who doesnt have a tolerance to opiates/opioids. I would suggest taking no more than 5-10 milligrams of methadone or you could die or feel very sick for a long time. It lasts for an incredibly long time (24 hours) and even after that you could still feel very stoned for 12-24 more hours. So please do not take more than 5 or 10 mg of methadone ever. Unless you have a deathwish or want to puke for up to 48 hours. My friend took 80mg by accident when we were young and he was sick for 5 days straight. He couldnt walk, he was pale as a ghost his eyes turned from brown to a grey colour and he couldnt drink, eat, or talk for so long. Be careful!!!! Darvocet is as dangerous as codeine maybe a little bit more because it can cause liver problems when taken regularly. Methadone is deadly when not taken correctly! It's more deadly than heroin in my opinion so it doesnt fit in anywhere on my list. Hope you enjoyed.

Good post ontario. I don't agree with everything, but still good post.
