what is it about gravity bongs?

lately I've built up such a tollerance I have smoke 2 bowls by myself to get good and stoned (it used to take just a few hoots). but in the past couple weeks, 2 times I met up with some kids who were smoking a gravity bong in the back of the school at night, where I go to smoke. both times, they offered me some and I took 3 hoots off the gravity bong, and I got totally FUCKED. I mean just stoned off my ass like the good old days when I was a nubie. I suppose gravity bong hits are more concentrated with the smoke, but surely 3 hoots doesn't match up to around 2 1/2 bowls worth of stonedness. is there some sort of physics to these that enhance things?

ur using a different method to smoke..and ur body isnt used to it..same way if u smked a blunt if u never did before..it seems differnt to your body and brain and u get more high....thats why when my tolerance gets reall high i switch to bongs...i liek them better than bowls

They put a lot of smoke into you really fast. How big is this gravity bong? Usually 1 hit out of a gravity bong for me will be about half a bowl to a bowl (in a smallish bowl), so 3 hits for 2½ bowls of weed isn't totally out of the question.

noob newb. nobie. lol in Call OF Duty online play, ppl spell owned PWND lol. but yeah. gravitys are easy as fuck to make the biggest one ive made i took one of those huge Culligan water jugs (10 gallens ro somthing like that) gut the bottom off put tin foil on the top. fill a bath tub up stick the cut part in the water and hit it like a gravity bong. never seen anyone clear it before but its fun trying, there also known as Bukkets. or party shooters

It makes sense that you get wrecked off of gravity bongs espicialy if they're using a bottle lid size gauze, thats about the same as a few hits from a bong in one kickass hit. Just don't go over board, I had 9 buckets after smoking some joints and well I couldn't really move or open my eyes for a while... then I started to turn green...

maybe...i doubt it but the real reason is because there is so much smoke packed into a bottle and when you take the whole thing your getting a lot of smoke in your lungs all at once but if you hit them enough you will be one stunned motherfucker i use to be a bucket head but theywould make me so lazy and would make my thinking all foggy after so i just said fuck it and went back to the noble joint thenks to a thread defending it...thanks Dogtor G!

I think it's got something to do with the fact that it's literally pushing smoke into your lungs.. so much smoke at once.. it's really amazing.. mm.. gravity bongs..
