Another stupid light question...
I am using a natural sunshine flourescent bulb and a plant grow flourescent on 6 seedlings.
They are both 24" bulbs. They total 1500 lumens.
1 - Are these bulbs sufficient, for now?
2 - What does it mean when the bulbs have a color temp of 5000k, does that matter?
3 - What does it mean when the bulbs have a color rendering of 92?
4 - What does it mean when the bulb has a full spectrum light"?
Your thoughts would be cool...

Another stupid light question...
A full spectrum light is a light that imits all colours in the light spectrum. Thats a good thing. The lights you have will be ok for now but not great, you need to get some better ones sorted really

2. The K in temps stands for Kelvin temp. The sunlight hitting earth has a K of 5800. Yes it does matter. The higher the K the more blue thus vegetative light spectrum is present...
3. CRI is used for measurements in paint and wallpaper and stuff. It has no relationship to growing plants.
4. Full spectrum means the bulb displaces from full red to full blue light waves. An HPS for example is not full spectrum, nor is a MH bulb. They both have their strengths in colors, red and blue respectively, but not in full wave length.
For your future reference, you cannot adequately grow MJ with 1500 lumens. You need a minimum of 2500 lumens per sq. ft. to have a plant survive, at least 5000 Lumens to grow good stock and ideally at least 7500 lumens for solid, bountiful harvests.
Sorry I never saw your question earlier or I could have replied earlier.
Hope this helps you.
