Which is exactly why I'm an anarchist. But of all government types, I think fascism is the worst since it deprives people of freedom and civil liberties the most, and it's even more deplorable that people don't even understand what fascism is. Bush is not trying to wipe out terrorists, that is just a cover he is using to go into oil-rich places. Tell me, if he were really concerned with terrorists, why doesn't he do anything about the terrorist military dictatorships in sub-Saharan Africa or Southeast Asia? Well, he doesn't give a shit about sub-Saharan Africa or Southeast Asia because they have no real resources to give him. At least not anything comparable to Iraq or Afghanistan. If you think his motive is really terrorism, you're deluding yourself.

And yes, I can compare this fascist régime to other fascist régimes. It's not just Hitler's Germany that was fascist; it was Mussolini's Italy, Franco's Spain, Suharto's Indonesia, etc. I urge you to look into these governments and what they had in common, and what they have in common with the direction our society is heading in under the neoconservatives. Fascism doesn't mean you kill 6 million people. Whether or not your government aims to commit genocide is not the determining factor on whether it is fascist or not.
