can u bend the plant durin veg?

i noticed some people with height restrictions tie r bend there plants, can u do this duin veg? rather than waitin 4 flowerin?

your suposed to do it veg yeah cause wen their flowering it wont work as well if at all. i bend the top over at its lowest point, tie it back to the stem for a week then remove the tie. n dont do it too tite or itl cut the stems. i hav 2 i jus done it to il try post a pic..

The ideal time to tie and bend is during veg.

However, it is not done jsut for height reasons. Done intelligently, it is also used to expose secondary growth to light and creates a higher yeilding plant.

I do not recommend tieing the top all the way down to the stem.

Also, when you tie her down, do it in such a way as it is permament. Other wise you will stress the plant. Do not do and undo and do and undo.

doesnt hurt tieing and undoin it the once.. once its bent n stayin there it dont need any tie.. but like i sed if u leave it tied leave it loose or behed ur plant.
besides they need SOME stress to kick out more thc... ?

the plant on the left is tied down more flat actually but i didnt focus cam to that 1...

Stress does not induce increased THC production.

Any MJ plant is inherently capable of producing 'X' amount or a fixed amount of THC. That amount is based upon genetics.

Stresses to the plant in some fashion are beneficial in helping the plant realize its true capacity.,..

Such as....

Wind stresses stems which help stems grow thicker and stronger and thus give the "CAPACITY" to deliver more nutrients to the plant which will help it produce what it is genetically capable of producing, but will not cause it to produce more THC.

You can add stress to the plants with benefits, but some stresses will hurt it.

Everyone here knows I champion tieing and bending more than anything else

It just needs to be done properly and with planning and with a purpose in mind.

i know,, i aint no pro but i tied up enuf plants to know they havnt gota stay tied thats all.

i didnt say stress will produce more thc than its genetically capable of.. if a guys plants lack a fan for example then hel not get as much thc than if he did hav a fan. . in which case.. sTrEsS of the fan will help to produce more thc... thats why i emhasized SOME stress..
