setup using compact flouros?

Curious if anyone out there could give me any ideas or suggestions on how to set up a small closet grow with compact flouros. Im not an electrical wiz... but i have the adaptors for the bulbs trhat have a male end of a plug on it.... but what would be the most effective way to set them up? Anyone else working with comact flouros care to share setups or ideas? I believe sawleaf mentioned titanium dioxide CF, i checked them out and have oredered a few, hope they work as well as they sound. Thanks all, good growing

Oh cool, you ordered some! Yeah they have been working awesome for me. I thought they were too good to be true at first, but they are really keeping the odor down quiet a bit!!! My plants are digging them more than I am. hahaha

hgi theree mate i have a grow the same as you in a closet and im using compact fluoros and there working well for me , i planted from seed and now after 4 weeks my plant is 9 inches tall and getting very bushy and lovely and smelly, hopefully she (it is a she!! she has shown me ) will get to around 14/16 inches and then i think i will flower her , i am only using a 100 compact and its working very well , so keep up the good work mate!!

My setup is sorta amateurish, but it is working very well. I have an overhead dual 40inch flouro tube fixture that is hanging. I used aluminum foil to extend the reflectors out about a foot on each side to reflect down as much light as possible. Then I used industrial plastic zip ties to secure four 42 watt Ozone full spectrum CF bulbs. I have all the wire running at the top of the flouro fixture. That is pretty much it. Except that I have covered almost everything in Alum foil to reduce the light lost as much as possible.

The foil is a bad idea. It reflects the heat in small spots and can burn your plants. Just paint everything white.

Oh I am using the dull side of the foil to difuse the light. My CFs are barely hot when I touch them.
