    West Bank

With all the attention given to the settlers who are being forced to leave the Gaza Strip, the pro-Zionist media has become silent on the issue of the West Bank, obviously because Israel is going to tighten its hold on that illegally occuplied territory to appease the conservatives who were reluctant to give away the Gaza Strip. And get this, the settlers who left the Gaza Strip were more than compensated, each family is receiving 200,000 to 500,000 dollars for new homes. On top of that, more settlers are pouring into the West Bank.

Just because an army takes over a territory does not make the occupation legitimate. By your logic, Hitler's invasion of Poland would have been perfectly legitimate, because he "wooped some jewish ass".

Take a look at the maps and tell me that Israel should give up this land, their sitting on a sliver of a country surrounded by hostiles the way it is. In their shoes, I would'nt give up shit!!!

Now tell the Palestinians (the vast majority of whom are NOT terrorists but just regular people trying to get on with their daily lives) that their nation does not deserve any land at all, because the invaders feel like having it instead.

I take it that Jordan has already agreed to give the Palistinians Jordanian land.

June 5-11,1967 6-day war. Israel destroys the Egyptian air force on the ground, conquers and occupies Sinai and Gaza, then conquers the West Bank from Jordan, and Golan Heights from Syria. UN resolution 242 called for Israeli withdrawal, establishment of peace.

Well officially, I'm against all national boundaries since they're just arbitrary lines used to divide people between subservience to particular groups of masters. But if you'll go back a couple decades earlier than that, to 1946, you'll find out that both the Gaza Strip and West Bank were part of the British Mandate of Palestine.

Yah and if ya go back further it was Roman and so on and so forth. Fact is that whole area is an ancient battle ground for conquerors. So who's the shit of the day today?

You seem to have the right idea. Everybody who's ever owned that territory throughout written history has been a conqueror. So why support one conqueror over another? We should support every community and every individual's right to make the decisions that affect their lives, without subservience to those who wish to conquer and control others.
