Eating gelcaps is unnecessary and would taste completely alkaline and awful. If you want to increase the rate of absorption poke two holes in the gelcap with a safety pin and swallow. No nasty taste and the same result is achieved.

DXM is highly unpredictable in my experience. I have had more bad trips than good ones. Although I have no regrets, I strongly contend it is something to be taken seriously. This is NO party drug.
