no i live in england.......my cost to get there woz only £50/$85...........and that woz included to go on the trains ALL OVER holland not just Amsterdam........we went to rotterdam and also den haag..........so that woz very cheap........but i perfer to go by ferry bcoz there is LOTS more 2 do then by plane.......plane may b quicker but you can't gamble, get lots of varieties of food........4 cinemas........4 restraunts........rouette wheel and 21 card games.......duty free xtremely cheap (200 lambert and butler £20 and 50g pouch of GV only £5 lol)

if u were to go from america.......i got a cheap flight from england to colorado for something like $500-$700 and then if i was to recommend a hotel my friend, literally as soon as you come out the centraal station you can c wot looks like the worlds largest hotel (which it isnt) its called victoria hotel......if you book online you can save urself a load of money, so you can get a week in like a 5* star bedroom for about $200.

    websites : Rail and ferry......http://www.seat61.com/Netherlands.htm#by%20Eurostar

    and for cheap hotels........http://www.octopustravel.com/Home.js...W9kz5:vds6e1k2

    Hey there everyone ,

Ston3r Glad you had a good trip ,
I went to Amsterdam last year and it was the best experience EVER!!!

It was my brothers 21st birthday and no one knew what to get him (like me he loves a nice smoke) so we decided to pay for a suprise trip to amsterdam .It was so funny he thought we were going bunjee jumping for the day in leeds and coming back to a boring family party

so on the day we told him he had to be up at 6am all the way to the airport he didnt have a clue ! when we got closer to it he asked what we doing here? we told him to wait and see we got in the airport and a few of his freinds were there and told him where we were going it was really really funny his face was a picture !!!!
I loved amsterdam i had the biggest laugh ever the weed is so nice over there i dont think i've ever got that wrecked at home.
Befor we even found a place to stay we was in a cafe ordering space coffee and proper nice joints !
You are right the people over there are so nice and helpful and they know what you want, if you get the munchies your never stuck for nice food i mean nice muchiefood . I think we smoked about 15 different types of weed god how i wish i was back there
anyways this post is getting a bit long so il stop rambling .
    c ya
