Comprehensive School (High School In USA?) Drug Tests!

I read an article on the internet that said the US schools are introducing drug tests to their pupils. Is this true? What would happen if you refused it? I know for a fact that most of my year at school would fail if tested, but mind you the testing kits (i believe they're urine tests) would get nicked and burned anyway.

yah it is true my old high school just started it but it was only for people in sports and yes a piss test given every other week...i know of schools that were every other day though as well so.... yes it is true sad but true....

My school drug tested anyone in extra-cirricular activities starting in 6th grade. Fuck them, they aren't cops, not even close. And even if you did fail a drug test, you can't be charged with possession. Tell them they can have a taste test.

I'd never allow my child to be drug tested by a school system. Scary even to think about.

my school says they drug test, but if they did I would have been tested long ago, cuz even though I'm not a crack head, and I try to tell people I'm not I still get mistaken for one. I also haven't heard of anyone getting tested at my school and it's about 50 kids per grade, so it's a small school.
