im a new grower and member, take a peek at my mistys!

Wanted to have a go so appropriated some "misty" seeds.
As an inexperianced grower i would like opinions on how they look (they are about 14-17 days old, i cant remember what the date was when i planted them).
Some leave tips got slightly singed (oops!) by the lights.
I water with a dilute plant food and have recently started misting it with the same once a day. I have two 100-watt bulbs and a 60watt bulb on them, i wasnt prepared to fork out for a proper light setup, but they seem to be growing.
Also, curiously, the stronger plant used to be the less strong one. it sustained a break at its base, which healed, i think into a thicker stalk. I have also noticed that the leaves on this one are growing ALOT faster than the other. Related?? A new technique discovered???
Let me know what you think.
    Cheers.
(also, has anyone smoked misty before? whats it like?)

PS: i forgot to mention, i had completely insufficient light to start with, for maybe 3or4 days, the seedlings became very very long and spindly, i replanted them deeper to support the stem and upped the light considerably and moved the light alot closer, they appear to be better now, i have also noticed upon inspection that roots have started to grow out from what used to be stem.
I have since pruned off the lowest 2 pairs of leaves aswel.
    This all sound ok-ish?

hehe, no you havent discovered a new technique bro, but what you have discovered is the first of many little discoveries you will no doubt encounter.
Breaking a plants stem will in fact make that stem repair itself and be stronger than before, the reason the plant is taking off is because thats its genetic code, had you not stressed it before you broke it , it would most likely be a bit more vigorous.
Careful of burying the stem below the soil level as this can cause stem rot. try not to prune it too much at this stage too, wait until its in full veg mode and the leaves are blocking light to the lower tips, breaking off leaves is debatable, ive always done it my self on fat leaf indica strains, Sativas are generally ok because they have a skinny leaf that can allow better light penetration.
generally pruning etc is better done later in full veg as it wont shock the plant too much, I tie down my plants, i dont prune them except when I clone them.
you can bend or snap stems so the plant doesnt get too big, I prefer bending, although as you have discovered, MJ will fast repair itself, after all it is a "weed"
