Yeah, alot of these so called poor people doing all of this looting seems kinda bad to me, especially since some of the poor homeless people managaed to leave New Orleans in time with no money. I do agree there are some poor helpless people though, but I wouldlnt really blame it on Bush. I personally believe alot of it to be FEMA's fault.

"Some people have referred to it as the secret government of the United States. It is not an elected body; it does not involve itself in public disclosures; and it even has a quasi-secret budget in the bil
lions of dollars. It has the power to suspend laws, move entire populations, arrest and detain citizens without a warrant and hold them without trial. It can seize property, food supplies, transportation systems, and can suspend the Constitution"

Im pretty sure that this "Federal Emergency Management Agaency"FEMA, though originally to make sure we survive a nuclear attack, does have Billions of dollars for just this kinda thing. Where that money went when we actually need it now is beyond me...If they had spent even around 10 million at the beginning of this disaster everything would probaly have gone alot smoother...How hard would it have been to get 100 emergency busses into New Orleans befor the disaster?...those assholes didnt try to find out...

I took those quotes from "http://www.sonic.net/sentinel/gvcon6.html" very interesting read though not directly about the hurrucane.
