IS THIS A COINSIDENCE?
Louisiana, Alabama, Florida and Missisippi are all traditionally known as "RED" states, ie They primarily vote Republican. In other words they helped put George W Bush, into power. Now George W started the war on Iraq and as everyone knows, the French were dead against going to war on that country. So, is it a coinsidence that the part of New Orleans to sustain the least damage was ..... THE FRENCH QUATER,......... Now I don't really belive in coinsedence but neither do I belive in angry gods wrathfull vengence. What do you think?

its a great theory but thats all it is....simply put the areas that sustained less damage were on higher ground, or built better to begin with. France didn't want us to go to war, because evidence indicates they were trading with Iraq during a trade embargo.

My mistake I thought they were on higher ground. The better built comment was in regards to the hotels that survived with just windows being blown out. It was a horrible natural disaster but no where near the Tsunami that everyone has forgotten about....

Yikes, we could all go encryptic and say the wrath of something (huricane) caused all this(god).Or we could take another look at global warning,as well as the administrations cutbacks and yellow bellying on invironmental issues that made this disaster worse. As well as haveing most our resources strung out in Iraq so our response time is pretty much nill on a crisis.Hey, what if it was a terrorist attack?Do you think the response would be any quicker? Shit, now I got a headache.(and no weed ) .

How does that make sense? The french quarter sustained massive damage and its not like the french could somehow control a C5 hurricane and make it do their will.
