The death of the Chief Justice is indeed unfortunate and couldn't have come at a worse time. I just hope Bush doesn't put someone on the bench that'll push a statist agenda(god forbid he should choose his little crony Gonzalez)
makes no difference,Roberts will pass without much of a fight(not that there could be much of one).

the replacement for O'connor will be a little tougher now because W will pick someone much more conservative than her wich the dems will say is cheating or unfair.but thats what happens when you when an election.either way, neither will answer any questions(or give any hints according to Ginsbergs hearings) about their beliefs or positions.

during Ginsbergs hearings Biden and and the rest of the dems said she shouldnt answer any questions(she didnt) and was passed like 90-3 with bi-partisan support.now it seems as if Biden and the bunch think the rules are different ans somehow dont apply to a conservative pick.they are in for a eye opening suprise.
