Oh yeah, nutmeg is in the natural LSD family.

I had my first real experience with it in Morocco where they use it in their hash candy called majun. Trichromes, nutmeg and other great herbs are mixed into a sort of candy and you eat it. Yeah, I remember talking to some friends on a balcony, leaning against the wall and had the experience that my body became part of the wall. Very wild stuff.

I think it takes a couple whole nutmegs to do something directly to you; the dosage eludes me at the moment. But in the instance of majun it is part of a mix of things, so it does not need to be the prime ingredient. One would think of it like hops, the drug in beer that makes you feel so mellow. Subtle actions on your body.
