When i tried it, i put 1 table spoon in hot ribena (blackcurrant with boiling water) and drank it, but the nutmeg was too heavy, so i had powder at the bottom that i had to eat with the spoon, it was disgusting. I took it at 10pm one night and the next morning, i was sitting here looking at a towl hanging over the bannisters, and it looked wavy and like water. I had no bad effects from it.

No way is nutmeg placebo, check it out on Erowid. Man, I still love this story though. Like the one guy sad though, try buying it whole, then crumbling it yourself.

Nutmeg tastes like shit in general though :-P. Erowid is an excellent source for info, but the reports for nutmeg are generally middle-schoolers who get fooled into thinking oregano is weed. Take all reports with a grain of salt....and why bother eating so much nutmeg? just wait till you can find some smoke. Personally I think this is a little exagerated, but its fun to read I guess.
