What i think is where seeing a move by our government to make us accept martial law as an everyday thing. Its not right that people are still dying there. I doubt the story that this person told as well, I dont doubt that they are killing there own people. Hell they did nothing for 5 days while people where sick and dying, how do we know they were shooting at rescue workers are government been lying to us since 1913 to get all kinds of thing to happen. Walmart and all stores should have open to the public for free merchandise, people stayed behind because they were told they would lose their jobs, What percentage had no jobs/were on gov't entitlement,medical supplies could have been dropped,planks of water,food,medicine could of been drop at the superdome or the convention center. No news shows mentioned...that bodies are all over the place many being eaten by alligators, And what else is going on elsewhere, in this country and govt. That is keeping us citizens distracted.

Sad thing is He and his Partner had to shoot 2 kids in their 20's just today. You might see this on the news actually. They got shoot to kill order. He said 2 guys were walking into a gun shop with guns in theire hand. My dad fired a warning shot telling them to get down and put their gun down. Your dad is a good man and you should let him know he is doing a good job on stopping these maniacs. It must be hard knowing that you took a human life, but he could have saved 10 more lives while killing off only that 1, who deserved what he got anyways. Shooting at a soldier trying to help you, what were they thinking?

Personally, I have very little remorse for what's happening down there. During this time of need, you should be helping your fellow person, not beating, robbing, raping or killing them. Taking food for suvival I can understand, but guns, TV's, and electronics? Your crack dealer is dead okay, that DVD player is fuckin useless.

how true...it does seem extremly ponitless to be taking things that you arnt actually going to be using in a long time....but i suppose they think that they are getting out of there soon.....but even then i dont think the rescuers are going to let them bring a tv with them when they are being saved...

they should just be thankful they are alive and help others who need it...fuck if you have enbough energy to break into a shop and steal shit you should be using your energy to help people who need help....

Personally, New Orleans has been noted for being murder capital of the nation(world) before.Also,it's police force has been known to be crooked albiet, it has long since been cleaned up.I feel for your pops cause now he has too deal with the psychological aspects of killing someone.Obviusly he did the right thing it our context,those kids were in a dumded down reality thinking that they could get away with being lawless and gangsta gangsta,matter of fact that isn't even being true gangsta cause it was borderline retarted and definitely stupid.Tell your pop's he has got alot of moral support from this message board if you think it would make a positive difference.
