When you allow room for understanding, compassion, acceptance and tolerance of other people, they will then be more willing to listen to your beliefs with an open-mind...only with that kind of attitude and respect of other people will you be able to shift people's beliefs.
I don't think so. You lot are taught that Satanists worship Satan, you're taught all the wrong facts about a lot of things. Like X-mas being a christian holiday, I'm afraid it isn't... it's a pagan celebration, & just like many other holidays & celebrations the christians took it over.
There's gonna be no open mind there.

You're right. I apologize for assuming you would be interested in intellectual growth. If being stagnant is what you're satisfied with, and your current intellect is what you feel is good enough to be armed with when facing a debate, who am I to criticize!

I don't care what you think. But, all the TV shows on American TV, I don't watch. I mean the church ones.

I don't care who you said that too, but, Warlock, you gotta admit that's a very funny sentence.

Well, I myself am an atheist, so Im sure you're not referring to me...but you're really uninterested in intellectual growth? Really?

That alone is the only problem I have with the things you have said in this thread and others. Just as a down-to-earth christian would have a problem with someone claiming to be christian while threatening to blow up an abortion clinic would have representing them and their beliefs, I have similiar hesitance with someone with an approach such as yourself representing beliefs I have.
I hope you can understand my intention when addressing this issue, even if I wasn't very clear up until this point.

Religion(kinda wat happens when you die?) question
The reason I picked this one of your posts to reply to is because its the only one that has any truth to it. We can agree on something, a lot of Christians do not act as one should. This is simply because of their sin, as with all man though. A lot of "mainstream" christians as I have heard them called before, believe that eternal salvation is a license to sin per se. It frusterates me to no end to see the name of Christians tarnished, but part of this is because of how Satan perverses things. Its a sign of the end, a lot of false hope in God among people, believing many are saved when in actuallity, they are not. A true christian wants to obey God. To tell you the truth, Religion should be killed. It is not God and his word that cause (christian specific) problems today, its mainstream christians who follow Religion blindly basing their descisions on matters such as Homosexuality, on no other reason then because in a word, the bible says no to this. Rather then trying to comprehend and learn the real word of God, lots of people are tricked (once again, sign of the end of times) into believing that all they need to do is pretend that Jesus died for thier sins (Because in the bible, it says accepting jesus is how people are saved). What is misinterpritated, is the fact that this is the first step. Scripture indicates in many areas that obeying is conditional for salvation. Now, dont misunderstand that aswell. The truth is that any person who WANTS salvation will be transformed from their lives of sin to something more pleasing to God. The fact of the matter is, Mainstream christians (a percent) are no better then aithists. They go about not obeying God, living in sin. The only thing that is diffrent is the fact they will rule out certain issues, such as abortion, just because the bible says so. To tell you the truth, the only books of the bible I have covered is Revolations, Jude and Genesis. I pray for the information I need to serv God and in return, I have been revealing answers for almost everything in my life. If you want to go about with being a Christian, I suggest you actually ask the Lord for salvation through Jesus and to pray for the strength to repent (to actually repent) Read the bible and look for answers yourself. The path to salvation is not one that is to be taken with loads of people. Its a personal path, in which you gain spiritual strength and a close relationship to our God. Seriously, don't be so fast to dismiss God. Its worth eternal life. I remember before I took God seriously, I thought "How can these people seriously say they have a relationship with god? Its all in their heads." But it isn't. If you gave it a chance, you would see yourself, its real. God reveals himself to people all the time, its just that peoples lives of sin blind them from the truth. When looking for a church, move around from one to the next until you are able to find a true church of christ, with real believers attending. That is if you wish, you can do everything thats needed on your own.
