yeah thats true...and then people are going to be like....omg its sooo many more people than the last disarster we have to help....and we will have to help more people even though we cant/wont help the amount of people already here!

and i think it does matter if the world is overpopulated because untill these disasters.........but then again the amount of people is going to speed up global warming and more disasters will occur....and there is sweet f a we can do....

Now, yes, the current state of New Orleans is disasterous alone, but think of what may come from it. Now yes, there has been the discussion of a possible molaria break out due to the large mass of sitting water (I lived in New Orleans until I was 10, mosquitos bred like crazy in water filled pots in my backyard) But I'm worried about much more then molaria.
