I tried Salvia Divintorium the other day, and i must say its a madly Psychadelic experience. The first time i inhaled, everything turned into blocks, including my friends face. I began to be pulled away from where i was sitting, by the phenomenon, salvia gravity. i actually felt a physical force pushing me. The first time wasn't too strong, itwas reallly the second time that made me see salvia's true side. THe second time happened after i had smoked a few buckets of pot and oil. I decided to pack a huge bowl of salviaextract in the buckets bowl next. I Inhaled the smoke, watching television while i held it in. I had an immense burst of laughter right when it kicked in, and i felt like things were attached to me, like the corners of the TV, and the corners of my ceiling. I looked down at my hand while holding a pack of gum, and there was an eye in the gun pack, andit was a part of my arm, i then looked up, and i had 4 arms, thatiactually physically felt, and i could feel each of them holding packs of gum. My hand kept getting sucked into the wall, and i could feel my arms stretching into the walls.

I doubt i will come across anymore salvia for a while, but it was pretty cool while it lasted. Post your salvia experiences too.

I've done salvia maybe 20 times. To me is a very strong sense of being pulled backwards into some alternate reality. In a literal, physical way. Visuals are, for me at least, wild distortions of object and particularly distance. I never see things that aren't there, many people do. But then I have difficulty remembering to keep my eyes open. Also a hot, tingly pressure against my skin that I find unpleasent. Definately some wild shit. Half the fun is watching someone try it for the first time. They never can believe they tripped so hard off a legal herb. Only thing more intense, IMO, is 5meo-dmt

You cannot compare Salvia with other hallucinogenic plants like magic mushrooms and cacti, is has it's own unique effect. Salvia causes only a short trip, 20 minutes to 1 hour. After this you return to reality quickly.

During the trip several states can occur: 2-dimensional hallucinations, out of body experiences, becoming a object, travelling back in time, being in more places at once and uncontrolled laughing.

Usage:

The Mazatec indians used two methods of consuming salvia: chew for a long time and then swallow down the leaves, or dissolve the leaves partially in water and drink it. However, both methods are not very tasteful.

When you are new to salvia, start of with only a very small amount to test your sensitivity. The effect of salvia are different for each person and can for some be very overwhelming. Be especially cautious with the 20x extract!!

It is important to use the salvia in a quiet, dark environment (with some candles for instance). A television is deadly for the experience, but an appropriate piece of music can be very inspiring. If you have no experience with salvia or other entheogenic substances, having a sober sitter present is absolutely necessary.

BE CAREFUL WITH THE 5X ,10X and 20X EXTRACTS OF SALVIA, USE THEM ONLY WITH A SITTER PRESENT, AND IF YOU HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WITH NORMAL SALVIA!!!

Salvia is not dangerous or addictive, but it is not a party drug! So use it in a quiet and intimate environment so the salvia can show it's full advantage. Most people do not feel an unpleasant hangover after using Salvia. Some people do report a mild headache, bronchial irritation, insomnia or irritability. These symptoms seem to be reported more often by people who smoke salvia than by those who chew it, and perhaps might be due to some combustion products, such as carbon monoxide rather than to salvinorin.

i don't know how many people are familiar with the color coded system (green, yellow, red, purple, purple being the strongest) but i've done green yellow and red... the red is kinda intense, but its still not the craziness i expected from hearing stories. I used a butate lighter and a bong, i'm doing everything right. I never get the crazy int he head hallucintions i thought i'de get, just that wierd feeling that i can't really explain... will purple bring me to a hole new level???
