Sorry, but LOL. You just installed firefox and you don't know what it is for? Your supposed to use that (mozilla-firefox) to browse the internet instead of Microsoft's piece of crap browser Internet Exploder. Usually the best thing to do once a system becomes infected with spyware is to just reformat and reinstall windows and hope for better luck next time. I just had to do that with my roomates computer. If you have the spyware thats called coolWWWsearch a reinstall of windows is for sure the only way to rid yourself of that awfull plauge. Another thing to consider, when you get your freash windows install up and running with the latest patches, virus scanner (I use AVG Free Edition), a firewall (I use sygate personal firewall it's free), and some antispyware ( I use Microsoft's antispyware beta, lavasofts ad aware, and spybot search and destroy all of which are free) you should then make a new user account and grate it limited access. That will prevent a lot of this spyware and viruses from installing by itself becasue you need Administrator privledges to install things. I hardly ever log onto the administrators account, only to update windows and other software. Good luck next time around.
