Typically curing is a very long process. Sweating is a short term process. Curing is done for flavor and potency. sweating is done so you can smoke next day. Everytime i get some it is moist to the point that it will not burn in a joint, however it burns fine in a vape or bowl. It usually is not the dealers fault and they will not want to take a loss for one extra pickey person. The problem comes from stateside growers ( in minnesota we have a few) when we get the import from canada they are usually very well cured. The way i figure is that for every 11 pounds sold, one pound is almost all water weight. So you can see why they do it. sorry i am rambleing on, My main point is that curing and sweating is similar but not the same thing.
