oncea420alwaysa420 Reviewed by oncea420alwaysa420 on . Wet Weed Just got some grass and it is still a little wet. I've heard that you can microwave it if it's too moist to smoke. I know it will probably affect the taste, but I just want to make sure I don't burn it up. What setting and for how long should I bake it so I can get baked? Rating: 5

that process is normally called curing, and is what should of happened BEFORE you bought the bud (unless you grew it of course)
anyway dont buy this wet weed again.. tell the dealer to dry it at least..

Typically curing is a very long process. Sweating is a short term process. Curing is done for flavor and potency. sweating is done so you can smoke next day. Everytime i get some it is moist to the point that it will not burn in a joint, however it burns fine in a vape or bowl. It usually is not the dealers fault and they will not want to take a loss for one extra pickey person. The problem comes from stateside growers ( in minnesota we have a few) when we get the import from canada they are usually very well cured. The way i figure is that for every 11 pounds sold, one pound is almost all water weight. So you can see why they do it. sorry i am rambleing on, My main point is that curing and sweating is similar but not the same thing.

there is lots ways you can dry herb fast,i been doing it for years.
1.DONT USE MICRO
2.THC starts to degrade, vaporize, whatever it starts to go away at about 200 F
so Think low dry heat.(slow cure is allways better)
3.Probaly the chlorophyll given ya the headache, happens when i smoke leaf.
Now the soulution,if you have a regular moinitor for computer, you can set a bud on the back of it on grates for few hours works great.
I have a little oven that has a keep warm setting thats stay at 140 F.Works great

Yep . the chlorophyll takes time to degrade. another possible cause is that it was never flushed before it was picked. It may have a build up of fertilizer. If you get little cracks and pops ( obviously not from beans and sticks ) it is possible that is what is giving you the headaches. I have found that the only way to get it somewhat out of already picked (and somewhat dried ) bud. Put the buds on a block of dry ice for about 45 seconds. This will also help to dry it some being that it cools the moisture in the bud and evaps it at a high rate. Kind of a weird thing i tried a couple times with some left over dry ice. (gas stations sell it for around 1$ a LB )
