    STRESS LESS TRANSPLANTING UPDATE

    48 hours later.

Here is the exact same plant that was used in the demonstration. I had duct taped the clear bottom of the soda bottle / container.

Upon removal and inspection of the rooting system, you can see how there is indeed STRESS LESS TRANSPLANTING when performed properly.

This is 48 hours later and the rooting system has already taken control and the plant continued to grow and thrive almost instantly

    STRESS LESS TRANSPLANTING UPDATE

Sort of suggests that the thought of using the longer pvc pipe might work. Although the question would be whether or not the plant is in any way stressed from running out of room as it's roots grow downward. Maybe it doesn't make a difference? I would think it has to stress them to some degree. Naturally they want to just continue down, not hit a piece of plastic and be forced back up. Would also solve your sog 'problem' of space. You don't need to make a larger container for them to grow in. Just taller. Course then you run into a height concern. Is your area tall enough to have the plants start out at 2 feet off the grow floor? Just flappin' my lips.

    STRESS LESS TRANSPLANTING UPDATE

    LOL...

Yea I am thinking the roots would just travel and hit bottom....unless I had a 20 foot PVC pipe, huh?

Maybe I could lay the pipe flat on the ground and grow that way?????

Like this. Would probably work. Have holes drilled along it's length that you would water through. Then plug them with a cork or rubber stopper so light wouldn't get to any roots trying to grow out the holes. Cool.
