passit420: I had the same problem, but I eventually mustered up the courage to ask somebody I didn't even know who I found out was a smoker, and it paid off big time. If you have nothing to lose, just go out and try. You'll thank yourself a thousand times later.

I can't remember the last time this happened, but it doesn't seem to have any negative affect on my thoughts or body.
