'Shoot to kill'
Finally, some language that Bush and his chickenhawk neocons can get behind, something that they can understand:
SHOOT TO KILL
Four years since 9/11 and this is the best response that Homeland Security and FEMA and all you chickenhawk twits can come up with?
SHOOT TO KILLArioch Reviewed by Arioch on . 'Shoot to kill' Iraq-tested US troops with shoot-to-kill orders were deployed in New Orleans today to restore law and order after days of chaos and looting in the hurricane-devastated city. Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco said the 300 troopers from the Arkansas National Guard had been authorised to open fire on "hoodlums'' who have been terrorising the flooded city in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Their deployment came amid intense criticism of the government for a tardy response to the disaster, Rating: 5

â??I am absolutely disgusted. After the tsunami our people, even the ones who lost everything, wanted to help the others who were suffering,â? Sajeewa Chinthaka, 36, as he watched a cricket match in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
â??Not a single tourist caught in the tsunami was mugged. Now with all this happening in the U.S. we can easily see where the civilized part of the worldâ??s population is.â?

Do I want the National Guard in there protecting people? Damn straight - one of my sister-in-laws, an RN, is heading down there Sunday.
Both conservatives and liberals have been saying that the emergency response to the whole thing has been terrible.
Bush responds best when he can respond with force. He speaks best when he has an enemy to confront.

The conflict has killed about 64,000 people, displaced one million and held back the island's growth and economic development.
Some estimates suggest that the government has spent up to 5% of gross domestic product on defence in recent years.
Sri Lanka's once successful tourist industry has also been badly hit by the violence, but has been recovering over the last two years.

So because Sri Lanka has a fucked-up political situation, that one particular individual's quote has no merit? Whatever. It actually supports your position more than mine, that lawlessness has to be dealt with, and which I am not arguing against. It's the BANG! BANG! Good riddance! rhetoric I'm sick of. Go ahead, cream your jeans over it - I'll go find some porno, which is why the internet was really invented.
