The people of New Orleans were ORDERED to get out well before it hit. Some people CHOSE not to leave (we have been through hurricanes before no big deal rightâ?¦.wrong.) Now they are living with the consequences of that decision. It pisses me off because their children had no choice; rescue workers that are endangering their own lives had no choice. Rescue workers are being shot at for fucks sakeâ?¦..then they wonder where all the help is. Now there are always going to be some people that canâ??t get out of any evacuation mostly the sick and the old but 90% of the people who are suffering are in that position because they chose not to leave. I have compassion for human suffering, but Iâ??m having harder trouble finding sympathy.

Quite frankly Iâ??m disgusted with the people of New Orleans. I understand how lack of food water and security can make people do crazy things but it doesnâ??t make you rape women in the bathroom of the superdome, it doesnâ??t make you shoot at people that are trying to help you. It doesnâ??t make you loot dead peoples homesâ?¦â?¦how can someone step over a body and pick up a TVâ?¦.Iâ??m very upset about this whole situation.
