1st, I would disregard the directions on the bottle and use common sense as far as the indoor outdoor thing, the same bullshit is on the cactus mix bag, but we're not growing cactus, so advice is moot...you really ought to try the orchid mix...I have my 2 potted plants from my clones(you remember my clones, right)...well 2 of them are in the orchid mix(in the big pots)...might be Schultz,
anyway they are going great...the mix stay moist for a while...it is soiless-bark charcoal and moss, I believe...I wasted 2 clones, the ones that were still in the styro cups in my pix, they were full of roots and they were potted in orchid mix...when I presoaked the mix before potting, it was 6.5 ph...perfect!this mix was about 8 bucks
but I tell you, if things grow as they are, I might look no further for potted grow medium...the cactus mix is working well also, I just wanted to try it...
Marc, when I look for a mix, I use my research and look for something with a bark and peat of some kind perlite or 'lite something, the orchid mix has arcllite...the orchid mix has hortictural charcoal, I think that is some badshit!
the cactus mix has sand and lime...when I pick it up in my hand, I can just feel it..
Sorry about babbling on, but I just hit 4-5 bongs of my freshly cured tomato's
In conclusion...I think i am going to start my seeds in the cactus mix..it resembles the mix in peat pellets ...and then transplant into the orchid mix,so so rich...
this is how i'm going to find females and then clone for my hydro monster grows...

very very intresting ,does it retain water well ive just used a john innes mix that contains bark,peat,and perlite and it holds well not bad stuff but i like the sound of the orchid mix
