Latewood's: Misty Blue...and BBxJH 6-3/3 planted this AM

If I were to grow again and had the space I wouldn't use less than a 5 gallon container. I saw a grow where the guy planted half his grow in 3 gallon containers and half in 5 gallon containers and the ones in the larger container smoked the others in yield. Everything was the same for all plants except for the size of container. Only thing you'd have to watch and adjust is your watering schedule and volume as of course a seedling won't take near as much as a mature flowering plant.

To me, if you had the space, the answer would be to grow in Jiffy Pots (the ones that break down when placed in soil and the roots just grow right through them) and then put them in the 5 gallon container after a few weeks. And that time frame of course dependent on the size of the Jiffy's. No transplanting needed.

just askin cause i feel after watchin a few grows, and on this grow i did a little experiment(forced on me).
i put most off the germinated seeds in2 large pots nearly from the first day and left some in smaller pots, and im starin flowerin 2morrow, the diff in size between the largeer potted ones and the smaller is substantial. so would u agree if u start off in bigger pots u not only get bigger plants(more room 2 grow) and no transplantin(no stress, well less than normall)
what u think? would that be the best way with dirt, germ them and straight in2 there permenant home?
black pot is 1/2 gallon probably...
I use 5" netpots for hydro and the rest are 16 0z styro...I am just growing these to sexing' then keeping moms and hydro-cloning.
I have a real nice clone(check other thread latewood's little room, once I have posted today's pix.
