I propose a gallery made for an avatar bank. Anyone can take or use avatars from there BUT (members only perks ahead) only members can upload new ones and/or delete other avatars.

This would keep us fairly self regulated as to the avatar bank, allow members to have some more perks. We can upload avatars we like, it allows some of us to create avatars if we are capable and inclined (and there are kind of a few of us that would do so..and have already), we can weed out duplicates or ones we are tired of seeing on our own. (or maybe mods can have the delete option, or perhaps a few "avatar police" that concentrate just on that section, I would totally volunteer for that action )
Then when ppl ask for avatars (like they do every day) you have something to offer, members have something else to play with and you may find yourself with a ton of custom avatars that only exist here on cannabis.com

ya kno how some forums have a "bank" of selectable av's when u go to userCP.... no need for downloading or doing it urself. i think thats what she is talkin about

Thats a pretty good idea, since its hard to find pics or images that are small enough to be avatars, or the editing programs needed to shrink them. I say go for it!

I could start a thread where we could put links to avatar gallaries, but this defeats the whole members getting some perks thing, and then who would police? anyone could put any kind of porn or offensive stuff, millions of repeats and fly by night members links to weed through, and then it would always be needing a bump and get too long and unweildy to read through it all.
