should I get a bubbler?

Alright guys, I am moving into my dorm in 2 days and since I will no longer have to have a piece that I can put in my pocket I am thinking of getting a bubbler (either a sherlock or a side-car). I have taken bong rips but I have never smoked from a bubbler before and was wondering what it was like and if its worth the $75 or so that it would cost me if I already have a hammer, a spoon, and 2 chillums. Do bubblers hit as smoothly as bongs? What are the drawbacks besides the fact that you can't really stick them in your pocket and that you have to be careful with them because of the water? Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.

Bubblers feel like bongs but weaker. I just don't like them for some reason. I smoked out of a chubbler one time. It's like a bubbler and a chillum mixed; u have to smoke it lying down. PERFECT.

dude bubs are cool man.. i mean its not like you need to put water in it all the time either man .. and when you do you can tell the differance

yeah get a sherlock bubbler and you can fit a lot of them in your pocket, but you can hit them dry and its just like a spoon with a chamber and with water it gives really smooth hits, but take into consideration the size of the hole in the mouthpeice as this is basically your only method of getting water in and out.
