I've read a ton of articles that say not to cut off any fans as they're the thing that's photosynthesizing the light and air and everything else good for the plant. Like taking one of your lungs out. Best thing, from what lots have said, would be to tuck the fans out of the way but for sure leave them on there. I did that to the one I lst'd and it worked great. Just tuck the fan below the new growth. But I'd listen to HD abou tthe watering. Be easy to over water them now that they don't have any leaves left. Bummer.
