foxy..still streched but mow growing 5 leaves

I know she needs more sunlight...its real cloudy now..and i'm trying to find a metal halide light/lamp. No where has this type of light, i've tried local shops and the home depot, any suggestions where else to go for this ?any way check her out (and her cacti friends) again any feedback is welcome even the sarcastic ones!

She desperatly needs light man, badly. I bought my bulbs at the Co-op garden center here, try Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Revy home and garden. If you can't get your hands on it right away, I suggest putting her under a few Floro or CFL bulbs, just to keep her balanced. You can buy CFL's anywhere, even at wal-mart, about $10 for a 25W lamp, screws into a regular socket, and tey give off very little heat. I suggest doing that if you can just to keep her balanced. Good luck!

I couldn't agree more. she's dying for some more light...literally...

Also, if i can.. i suggest repotting her and burying her up to the first set of leaves.. this will shorten the plant, make it sturdier and she will develope feeder roots out the side of the stem once it's buried.

    Yes, nice one.

Do it after you get some real light on her. There is no point in transplanting to cover up the bare stem just so it can get stretched up again. Good luck!

Well, she doesn't look like she is gonna die.. She is fine...

    BUT PUT light on HER....
Fluorescents are fine and they're cheap, go by a ton of them and surround her... and re-po her while your at it.. : )
