There is "no comparison", because it is PREVENTABLE and we cannot go into the bedroom, hut, cave, treehouse, igloo or teepee of every living person in the world to force them to take precautions. I am not "brainwashed" by the media or anybody else, and I take exception to your calling me an "ethnocentric racist". If the matrilineal societies, of whatever races, are not "backwards", then who is? I know, in your view everybody is supposedly "equal" and just as rational as the people that have pulled themselves out of poverty, ignorance, superstition and disease. I've got some bad news for you - this just ain't happening yet on this planet, and the sooner people realize that, the better.

??Multiculturalism is a growing force in America??s universities and public life. In brief, multiculturalism is the view that all cultures, from that of a spirits-worshiping tribe to that of an advanced industrial civilization, are equal in value.
Since cultures are obviously not equal in value??not if man??s life is your standard of value??this egalitarian doctrine can have only one purpose: to raze the mountaintops. Multiculturalism seeks to obliterate the value of a free, industrialized civilization (which today exists in the West and elsewhere), by declaring that such a civilization is no better than primitive tribalism. More deeply, it seeks to incapacitate a mind??s ability to distinguish good from evil, to distinguish that which is life promoting from that which is life negating.
We are opposed to this destructive doctrine. We hold that moral judgment is essential to life. The ideas and values that animate a particular culture can and should be judged objectively. A culture that values freedom, progress, reason and science, for instance, is good; one that values oppression, stagnation, mysticism, and ignorance is not.? No, I never said that. I'm just giving one of the reasons how a virus can get transmitted in the first place. Suppose you have an HIV infected militant who rapes a married woman who gives the virus to her husband, who then might give it to someone else. This is one of the reasons women as well as men are taught how to properly use condoms.

Maybe we should force the companies to! Ghostoker may not be a communist, but I guess part of me is. lol
I mean, its a matter of profit versus saving people from a horrible death. I dont care if Merck or Pfizer loses millions of dollars if millions of people are saved.
Oh, and dont say they need that money for research to find cancer cures, because billions of dollars are spent on erectile dysfunction medicines instead. The government should at least have a say in what is researched.

No prob. But you should read this guy's last post. Scary stuff. If Torog represents the social conservative, this guy is definately the neo-con of the bunch.

Great! One guy, who has very conservative views, calling me "liberal", and another, with a completly different view of things than the first guy, calling me a "neocon'. The iron is priceless. You two should have a chat together - it would be interesting.

I don't give two flying motherfucks about your political affiliations. You are talking complete and utter wank.

Exactly. And there are a hell of a lot of people who would, will, and have chosen profit. Like I said in another thread, our society is sick. And people like Breukelen advocaat are the symptons.
