The moment people stop thinking like that is the moment humanity really starts to help itself. I understand why you think we have to "take care of our own" first.. you've been indoctrined to think like that from the moment you could watch TV. But, and excuse my hippyness for a second, don't you think that that ideology could be inclusive of the whole human race? I could use the same sentence, but I would be meaning to help the whole human race before worrying about going in to space, building a big military, etc.. We spend so much time worrying about trivial things that we never really help "our own", just the people around us. Why are Americans more important than Africans? If you can answer that with an honest, thoughtful response then i'll be astounded.

I am not "indoctrinated" to think anything. If those people (yeah, I know) have nothing better to do than fuck multiple partners all day, use voodoo rather than science, and spread STD and HIV to each other, then the spread of disease is their own fault. We have people dying in our own country from our worst natural disaster, and it is more important to help them than waste our time preserving stupid, dangerous traditions in backwards, matrilineal, superstitious societies. As I said, they could start by building a goddamn condom factory â?? but I guess that weâ??re responsible for that also, according to your logic.

Your utopia is not going to happen anytime soon unless the less fortunate are willing to meet us halfway. If we try to interfere anyway, then youâ??ll say that we are â??exploitingâ?� them â?? or some other excuse to blame the U.S. for other peopleâ??s stupidity.

These countries cannot function, to a large degree, because there is no â??familyâ?� system in their social stratum. The women have children by multiple men, and the men slack off and support none of them. The best way for these societies to improve would be by starting to put traditional patriarchal values into their young peopleâ??s heads â?? but that will get shot down by the wrong-headed â??feministsâ?�, socialistic herd-followers, and multi-cultural proponents.

You can say whatever you want; that they have to help themselves, that they are lazy, whatever.. but without help how are they going to overcome famine, poverty, disease and despotism without the economical or political help from countries with the ability to do so? I'm not blaming the US, as I said earlier, i'm blaming every country (and person) who is in a position to help but doesn't. You can't just say "Well, we've got problems of our own" because trust me, no matter how bad your current problems are they are nowhere near as bad as the problems these people go through every fucking day. The worst "current problems" in our country is the death and destruction from the hurricanes. The problems that "these people (poor Africans) go through every fucking day" are to a large degree their own fault. The women that are having multiple children by shiftless men mostly cause the poverty and suffering. We have it here, also. My solution, in the U.S., would be to stop all welfare for "single moms", unless they are widowed, disabled, or were badly abused. No men should have to pay child support to a woman that they were never married to, unless they want to. The custody of children should go to the father, in the event of a divorce. If he does not take them, or a responsible family does not step in, then they go to an orphanage. This would cut down on the divorce rate, in the cases of marriages with children, by a very large percentage. It would cut down on juvenile crime drastically. This is the way it was in Europe, during the greatest human advancements that the world has ever seen. Switzerland and Japan have similar systems, with very low divorce rates, well behaved children, and good benefits.

It's a pity that people have such disdain for men's roles - especially the men themselves. A single mother and her kid(s) is not a "family" - and the sooner we realize that this is the cause of most of societies ills, the faster we can move forward.

Men are "indoctrinated" to despise themselves, and the man-hating "feminists" have won, to a large degree. If Hillary "It takes a Village Idiot" Clinton becomes president, it's going to be a sorry day in U.S. history.

Even if it is their own fault (which it really isnt) so what? If someone gets skin cancer, should we not care because it was his own fault that he never put on skin screen? Or a heart attack? Was that the person's fault?
