BUSTED!!!!

Well, I'm very careful about keeping low key. I thought there was no way in hell I would get busted ever. I just don't do the things that other people do to get busted. Basically this past weekend I left for school and brought everything with me except my vaporizer. Now, I thought about bringing the vaporizer but figured it wouldn't get used enough, and better to have it at home where its safe than at school where I could get busted with the cops/school. So my dad claims he was cleaning up my room (and sound equipment) and that why he went in my desk drawer and opened my microphone bag (where I stored it). He contfronted me in person (I live close to school), and here was the conversation.

d: i was cleaning the room and a found a contraption in a microphone case in your drawer
d: what is it
m: a vaporizer, for smoking marijuana
d: thats illegal
m: yes i know
d: well i'm speechless
d: how often ?
m: depends on whats going on
d: with who?
m: depends, whoever is around
d: with [younger brother's name]?
m: nope he doesn't even know (thank god i never had a talk with him)
d: well there will be consequences, i'll get back to you later
m: welp, ok

I didn't want to deny anything, since its a lightbulb vaporizer, and I didn't want him to think I was a crack head and get really worried. Although, both my parents are like super hardcore religious, and look down on everything. To put things in perspective, if I was caught swearing in high school, I would lose my car for a week.

I'm letting other people (some who I don't know well) hold on to my pieces, and I'm selling the weed I have right now (a lot) at cost(around $5 a gram for decent mids) just so I can get rid of it. To put things in perspective, selling at market rate for our school I could probobly sell $15 a gram, but I want to get rid of everything, because I wouldn't put it past my dad to call the cops. I think I may lose my car and its a possibility I will lose money for college.

Things could get real shitty real fast. It's hard to read the situation. The conversation I had with my dad was rather stale, as always. My dad never had any emotions about anything, so when we were talking he wasn't mad or visually dissapointed, or upset, etc. He has testified against family members before in drug related incidents, but not immediate family.

Suprisingly, I'm not that upset, but I'm sure that will set in eventually. Anyways thought I would share, for what its worth.

Sorry to hear it man. But better to get busted by your pops than the cops. If it's any consolation, I can tell you that as you get older (and more independent), your parents generally chill on how much they try to control your decisions. Good luck and stay safe, dude.

I'm really sorry to hear about that. It sounds like he was doing a little more than cleaning. Too bad. Parents that don't trust their kids suck. Continue being honest with them. It's the best thing to do. Be firm and adult about it if/when you get a chance to talk to them. Parents respond to that.

One day when I got home I was putting my weed away and noticed that a pipe made from a little "Finding Nemo" toy was missing. I was freaking out thinking my mom had found it, she would have killed me. I didn't hear anything about it for a few days and it was starting to bother me. So one day after school my dad wants to go hunting and I didn't think much about it because he always wants to go. When we got to where we were sitting and he says


d: I thought we had a deal.
m: what?
d: that you wouldn't smoke weed.
m: why do you say I smoke?
d: I know you do.
m: how?
d: I found a pipe. It was a toy from that movie.
d: how long have you been smoking?
m: Just a couple weeks.(I had been smoking for 6 months)

I can't really remember the rest but he didn't tell my mom. I had to burn my pipe and bottle, but not my weed he didn't see that. I quit for almost a month
and have been smokin ever since, it's been about a year now and I have a glass pipe so no more foil!!!lol

The feeling I had when we were talking about it sucked, but now we joke about it a little.
