what i would like to know is how long would you give a bunch of seeds to germinate in tissue,before you would write them off if they didnt germ.im currently on day 5 with no sign yet.all advice is much apreciated and welcome.

boneless there is chance you might have kept them to wet and created rot.
I'd give them around 7 days then plant and wait a little longer some times they can take upto 2 weeks to germinate..some times they can just be slower .

To be honest with you dude I seem to have the best luck in the first few days (2-3). but every buddy else seems to say 7-10 days.

if you grow in soil and want to take some of the germination stress away...get some peat starter pellets, I have never had seeds fail in those; they usually work in 2-3 days...like fet says, plant them and wait, perhaps they will come up...goodluck and sorry to hear about your misfortune...perhaps the seedbank you bought from will send you some more...
