can anyone tell if male or female?

these are pics of 2 different plants. from my reading and viewing images of males and females. I have a feeling that the first pic is a female and second is male, does anyone agree? Plants are still in veg. stage, but looking these could be pre-flowers, correct?

I can't tell from either picture. It's too early to tell I think as I see no pre-flowers on either. I see a little green leaf but that could be the start of a side branch.

How far along are you in veg? Pre-hairs IMO, can be very misleading and I find it best to wait until 12/12 to know for sure. I've had plants that look like males at first, but turned out to be females.

White, small, stringy hair=female
Seed pods, balls, no white hairs=male.

the pic on the right looks like the housing for the first little hairs that pop out on females. i notice that both male and females start out with little pods kinda. the males pods are smaller and in groups and more circular. the females are like longer and skinnier pods and they dont group together. you only see one of those at a time on different spots on the plant. its hard to tell with the first but to me....the second looks like a female but i could be wrong. im speaking from my experiences. peace

junkboxer -- you are right. I just took these pics of the plant on the right (pictures above 1st post). I would sueriously think this is a female!!!! YEAH!!! I'm not sure about my other 2 plants yet. shortest one is the female in the bathtub.. and no thats not where I keep them. just out for some h2o

ive also heard that females tend to grow slower than males so there ya go....your fem is the shortest of the 3
